Romantic Comedy Part One

I love romantic comedies.. Walaupun kadang-kadang ceritanya cuman gitu-gitu doank, tapi yaaa lumayan menghibur lah.. Pertemuan wanita dan pria, mulai dari yang biasa banget sampai yang unik kayak Amelie.. tetep bisa menarik perhatian kita, entah untuk refleksi diri atau sebagai tambahan referensi harapan.. hehe.. So a few months ago, I made this article which I posted in a forum.

Things about romantic comedy :

1.New York

Kota ini emang lumayan sering dijadiin setting film bergenre Romantic Comedy.. I dunno.. there’s something between the big apple and romantic thingy

She’s a romantic comedy darling girl..Banyak yang bilang dia ratunya Romantic Comedy.. Let’s see.. filmnya yg bisa gue sebut

When Harry Met Sally, Joe Versus the Volcano, sleepless in seattle, Kate & Leopold, You’ve got mail, when a man loves a woman, Prelude to A Kiss, French Kiss, Addicted to Love, I.Q

3.Soundtrack

A good romantic comedy should have a good soundtrack
Gak jauh dari menye-menye, mellow atau picisan.. Hehehe

- Sleepless in Seattle ("When I Fall In Love" Celine Dion and Clive Griffin)
- Notting Hill ( WHEN YOU SAY NOTHING AT ALL by Ronan Keating, "YOU'VE GOT A WAY" Shania Twain)
- Pretty woman (Masa keemasan Roxette )
- The Wedding Singer (Grow old with you, Adam Sandler)

4. The three stages for a happy ending

Kebanyakan film romantic comedy, terdiri dari beberapa tahap alur:

1. masa-masa bahagia : mulai dr perjumpaan, ataw footage2 yg menunjukkan betapa mereka menikmati masa-masa bedua atau so perfect with each other (biasanya dilatarbelakangi dengan musik ceria huhuhu)

2.masa-masa sedih / merenung : permasalahan semakin pelik,menyendiri, ga ketemuan.. merenungi nasib.. (juga kadang dilatarbelakangi musik, tapi sedikit sedih atau yang cocok untuk merenung.. mellow2 gitu lah )

3.moment of truth: udah ampir bego mikirin knapa begini knapa bgitu.. akhirnya nyadar juga.. weits.. ‘pokoknya di akhir film, gw tetep harus jadian ama dia..’ huhuhu norak abit.. anyway, iya..this is the moment when they realize that they love each other, no matter what will come between them later, well.. filmnya kan udah keburu abis bo.. (mo slanjutnya ternyata ga cocok, bukan urusan kita para penonton) huhuhuhu

Tahap trakhir ini dilengkapi tentunya dengan perjumpaan kembali yang dramatis, sarat makna dalam berkata serta… kissing donk ah !! :
- Matthew Perry & Salma Hayek di bendungan perbatasan Nevada (Fools Rush In)

- Ashley Judd & Hugh Jackman di trotoar (Someone Like You)

- John Cusack & Kate Beckinsale di Central Park

- Meg Ryan & Tom Hanks di Cental Park (You’ve got mail), Empire State Building (Sleepless in Seattle)

- Hujanan emotional scenes di akhir film Love Actually (ini kan jawaranya.. hehehe)
