Lessons for today

[Okay, Here’s the thing: I’ve been thinking a lot about many topics I want to write in this minimalist blog of mine (design-wise and content-wise :P)… But then, the ideas fade away as my work getting more and more irritating. Until today, my friend Lia asked me to update my blog. Hmm.. ngemeng2 gw lagi ada waktu nih sedikit.. hehehehhehee So, here we go..]

L’s guide to be a 4s young woman.
4s = Single, Survived (from a heartbreak or whatever pathetic state you were in), Successful (in your career of course) and………. Still searching ! (yes… searching for a heartthrob)

1.Love your work!
If you’re not in love with your work, try to like it or get rid of your negative aura in workspace. At least you can say to people bugging you with boyfriend questions: “I want to focus on my career”.
I always believe that you got to love what you do. Nothing more dreadful than having a job you loathe.

Being a workaholic can be so pleasurable, especially when you’re single. You can concentrate on work more than those people with boyfriend/girlfriend. I have my source said that his progressing career stopped at one point, which later he found out it was the time he got a girlfriend. Of course, it’s not the ultimate theory. Just put your nose to the grindstone.Your responsibility to the professional world somehow is able to make you concentrate not only on your misery. Hahahaha

2. Set your goal
Take point 1 to a higher level. Be a successful lover! You have to achieve something in your career. Short term or long term, reach your own star! *ajegile bahasanya… kayak seminar membangun karier.. :P*


3. Hang out on Monday night, Friday Night and Saturday Night..
The point is accept every single invitation. To a fabulous party, awesome music gig, a warm lunchtime (or dinner), watch a new flick, a quick getaway at the beach, hang out in a coffee shop, a shopping spree, a benefit event (saahh.. kali aja). Enjoy the conversation you have with friends, colleagues, or people you just met. Mensana in corporesano, there’s a healthy mind in a healthy social life. Loh?? Salah ya? hehehehee
Be the coolest girl in your office (if not in town :P).But on Sunday, spend some quality time with your family.

4. Have friends as many as possible
Those endless forwarded emails about how important a friend is, a national friendship day, a friend in need is a friend indeed etc. mean only 1 thing: Keep your friends close (and your enemy closer.. saahh.. hahahaha). Friends help you get through some tough times, and they are number one choice to be the supreme amusing companion. (of course if you’re boyfriendless.. hehehhee)

5. Ask your friends to introduce you to their friends
(can you smell a prospective eligible boyfriend here and there? :D)

A right channel to encounter some boyfriend-material guys. Moreover, you can have some insights from your friends to accelerate your movement.

6. Have your friendster access on stand by
Although some people are already fed to the gills with this thing, but it always turns out to be a very helpful resource to do some research on your target. :P

A:ada deh temen gue.. lucu anaknya
B:ada friendsternya ga?
A:oh ada ada! Liat aja di friendster gue!

Pour-quoi? Why?
- you have a chance to see what he looks like first. Pasti senang loncat-loncat kalo ternyata fotonya jelas dan ada lebih dari satu!

- you get to know what music he prefers, what are his favorite movies, bla bla bla (I bet you’re familiar with those things) If you’re lucky, in the ‘Who I want to meet’ column he mentions his type of ideal girlfriend which exactly like you! Hip Hip hooray..

- possibility to see the ‘real’ him by browsing through his testimonials. Trust me.. (and you should agree on this) you can get some juicy stuffs there!
